The terrace sits four floors above the town under an open steel-and-glass canopy, so you get the breeze and the view whether it’s sunny or drizzling. Look out across the rooftops of Cat Ba Town to the green limestone mountains behind it; on festival nights the terrace is one of the best spots in town to watch the fireworks.
Seating is relaxed — rattan chairs, sofa corners and hanging swing chairs — and there’s a full-size pool table for anyone who wants a game. It’s an easy place to start the evening before dinner downstairs, or to finish it after a day out on Lan Ha Bay.
